Promoter-based Community (Promoter inside Anchor)

A Promoter (e.g. a solar developer or energy service company) owns a generation asset (PV) installed behind an Anchor member's CPE. The Promoter sells energy to the Anchor and to other community members (Consumers/OffTakers) at bilaterally agreed prices.

Key characteristics:

  • Anchor CPE is a Prosumer installation (IAC) — metered separately for consumption and injection
  • Promoter has no CPE of their own; their PV is measured by an internal meter behind the Anchor CPE
  • Energy pricing uses FIXED_BILATERAL_PRICE or TREE_DNAC market rates
  • Transactions between Promoter PV and the Anchor resource are INTRA_CPE (behind the same DSO meter)
